Cherith Bible Inmate
Program
In May of 2008, Cherith Bible Institute launched its Inmate Study Program designed to offer basic Bible courses to men and women who are incarcerated throughout the United States. Presently, the Inmate Program reaches prisons in West Virginia, Virginia, North Carolina, Florida, Colorado, Ohio, New Hampshire and California.
Certificate of Biblical Studies
Participants in this program are allowed to take the 20 unit study plan and receive a Certificate of Biblical Studies upon completion. This program has grown greatly through word of mouth from one inmate to another. Those who are released and join a church in agreement with our doctrinal statement are welcome to take the additional 10 courses needed to complete the 30-unit of study. Many have gone on to receive their diploma in Biblical Studies. It is such an encouragement to see how the Word of God changes lives and lifts up those who are seeking godly direction for their lives.
