Our Policies
The following statement is made in order to avoid confusion, and unnecessary frustration to those who are interested in enrolling in Cherith Bible Institute. We serve as an arm to help strengthen the local church, not to cause division or to create arguments among good people.
Without meaning to be unfriendly or unkind, our experience has taught us that Cherith Bible Institute is not for those who may be charismatic, who believe in the modern day tongues movement, faith healers, women pastors, prosperity gospel, hyper Calvinism, baptismal regeneration, and anyone who supports LGBTQ, or is a member of the World or National Council of Churches. We refuse to reply to criticisms, or debate those who hold to a different position than we do. If any of these are true of you, we simply ask you to apply to another learning institution to whom you agree with.
Two Requirements

1
Doctrinal Agreement
Before you start the process of enrollment in Cherith, please be aware of what you and your local church believes and teaches. Have your pastor review our statement of faith found under the heading, What we Teach. If you or your church are not in agreement with what we believe and teach, please do not apply.

2
Church Membership
Along with baptism, we feel that church membership is an act of obedience following salvation. If a person is not a part of the fellowship of a local church, we ask that they do not apply. Cherith Bible Institute is here to assist the local church by better equipping pastors, teachers and workers to serve within the church.
