Cherith Online Bible Institute
Cherith Bible Institute is an online Bible campus. It was created to give students access to a quality, Bible school education regardless of their geographical or economical positions. Hundreds of students, missionaries and pastors from around the globe are able to attend classes weekly by logging in to the Cherith Bible Institute site. The online school offers ten classes a year, allowing the student to earn their diploma in Biblical Studies within three years.

Class Schedule
A school year is divided into four quarters. A quarter is twelve weeks with ten weeks of lectures and two weeks to complete the evaluations. The school year begins the Fall Quarter, beginning on the first Monday of each September. It is followed by the Winter Quarter, (beginning the first Monday in December), the Spring Quarter ( beginning the first Monday in March) and the Summer Quarter which begins the first Monday in June. Where the Home Bible Institute students can begin their studies at anytime, Online students must start at the beginning of each quarter.
Getting Started
Once your application has been approved, you will be given a private classroom link through email. Without this link, you will not be able to access the classrooms. Along with the classroom link, you will be sent thorough instructions on how to get started, where to print out your workbook pages and specific information concerning scheduling.
How it Works
Taking Classes
Classes will be uploaded to the classroom every Sunday night ( US time) so that they are available for all our students around the world by Monday morning. Students will report to the classroom sometime during the week when the lecture is posted. Students have one week (Monday through Sunday, U. S. EST) to visit the classroom. After a week, the lecture is removed; and the next lecture is posted.
Simply read the lecture and fill in the blanks on the student handout sheets that are printed out before class.
All assignments must be done before coming to class the following week.

Evaluations
On the tenth week, students will see “Evaluation Next Session” at the end of a lecture. This means that the course material is complete, and they student is ready to be tested on what they have covered during the quarter sessions. The evaluations will be posted the next week. Most quarters allow at least two weeks to complete the evaluations. General rules for taking evaluations are the same for all courses. You may study your notes up to the very time you look at the evaluation. Once you have seen the evaluation, no class notes, personal notes, study helps, or Bibles can be open. Cherith Bible Institute Online operates by an "honor system" trusting that the students will honestly take their evaluations. An answer key will be posted the week after the evaluation is given. Once the evaluation is completed and graded, the student will send their scores to the Online Director who will record their grades in their school transcripts.
