Cherith Home Bible Institute was organized in 1986 as a correspondence Bible study program. These are the same 30 courses that are offered at Cherith Bible Institute Online in the printed format. The courses are mailed out to the student in a designated order. Courses are sent out in printed format (for students in the U.S.) The student goes through the course assignments and worksheets and returns the evaluation to the Cherith Office for grading. The next course is then sent.

Cherith Bible Institute is an online Bible campus. It was created to give students access to a quality, Bible school education regardless of their geographical or economical positions. Hundreds of students, missionaries and pastors from around the globe are able to attend classes weekly by logging in to the Cherith Bible Institute site. The online school offers ten classes a year, allowing the student to earn their diploma in Biblical Studies within three years. 

The Inmate Study Program offers basic Bible courses to men and women who are presently incarcerated throughout the US. Participants in this program are allowed to enroll in the twenty unit study plan and receive their Certificate of Biblical Studies upon completion. Currently, the Inmate Program reaches ten prisons in West Virginia, Virginia, North Carolina, Florida, Colorado, Ohio, New Hampshire and California. 

Along with the Online and Home Bible Institute plans of study, Cherith Bible Institute has international extension schools in Zambia, Africa and Pangasinan, Philippines. Each of these schools have growing campuses with students who take the classes through in-person classes with trained instructors. Graduates of these extension schools go on to become pastors, church planters and teachers.
